What's the deal?

I wanted a decent way to record my thoughts about the d3 communication process. While d3 is referred to as a charting tool, it is also fairly decent at text communication and graphical manipulation, meaning it could also be used to create and stylize images, artwork, text communication, interactive tools and animated videos.

Hopefully, some of the more complex elements of d3 can fit into this format, but if not, maybe I'll try to find some way to break the don3ts out of their framed format. Or maybe I'll just save that for a different subject.
